Ordering Methods for US Service Center

We offer many convenient methods for placing orders. Please find a detailed list below. If you need clarification, please send an e-mail to cshpress@cshl.edu, or call our U.S. Customer Service Dept at 1-800-843-4388 (Continental U.S. and Canada) or (516) 422-4100 (all other locations). Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST, Monday-Friday.

The US Service Center (CSHL Press America) is intended to serve our customers in the Americas, Asia, and Australia. US Dollar pricing is provided for all CSHL Press publications, and orders are fulfilled & shipped from our USA office.

The European (UK) Service Center (CSHL Press Europe) is intended to serve our customers in Europe (except Germany, Austria, Switzerland), the Middle East, and Africa. British Pound pricing is provided for all CSHL Press books and audiovisual products, and orders are fulfilled & shipped from our UK office. (Journal subscription prices, on the other hand, are only available in US Dollars, and orders are fulfilled via our USA office.) The website can be accessed via www.cshlpress.com or www.cshlpress.co.uk.

(Journal subscription prices, on the other hand, are only available in US Dollars, and orders are fulfilled via our USA office.)

Online:
Connect through our secure server to place your order online by browsing/searching our online catalog, placing desired items in your shopping cart, and engaging the checkout & purchasing process.

Fax:
The shopping cart system can also be used to submit fax orders. Simply place desired items in the cart and proceed to checkout. The second Checkout page (Grand Total Page) presents a link to an Alternative Order Form that can then be printed and faxed to our offices.
Please be careful not to also submit your order online (do not click on the Purchase button!).

Orders can be placed via telephone by calling our offices during business hours.

Payment Methods:
Personal orders must be prepaid by personal check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), or money order. All checks must be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Make checks or money orders payable to CSHL Press.

Online ordering requires that credit–card information be supplied. The server supports secure connnections (https).

Purchase Orders may be submitted via facsimile on institution letterhead to (516) 422-4097. Please use the shopping-cart Alternative Order Form mentioned above (under "Fax").

Special notice to people in Japan:
Orders for Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press from this country should be sent to an address other than the normal CSHL Press address.
