Since 1933, the publication of books and other media by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press has assisted the Laboratory's purpose of furthering the advance and spread of scientific knowledge.

CSHL Press publishes monographs, technical manuals, handbooks, review volumes, conference proceedings, scholarly journals and videotapes. These examine important topics in molecular biology, genetics, development, virology, neurobiology, immunology and cancer biology. Manuscripts for books and for journal publication are invited from scientists world wide.

Revenue from sales of CSHL Press publications is used solely in support of research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

How to Submit a Publishing Proposal to Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press

We invite proposals for publishing projects of all types from prospective authors and editors worldwide. Your proposal should describe the project, its creators' background, its intended audience and the project's special merits. Book proposals can be submitted to the Office of the Executive Director, by completing our downloadable form (this link will download a text file to your desktop) and sending the completed form by email or by fax (516-422-4092) or by post to Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press, 1 Bungtown Road, Cold Spring Harbor, NY 11724.
