Call for Papers: Personal Genomes Special Issue
The editors of Genome Research are seeking submissions of manuscripts that describe novel biological insights gained from individual genome comparisons, targeted resequencing efforts to find rare variants that contribute to disease phenotypes, cancer genomes, ancestral reconstructions, and methods to characterize variation within and across populations. When considering submission to Genome Research for this special issue, please note that our impact factor recently increased to 11.224 , according to the 2007 Journal Citation Reports. Genome Research now ranks third amongst primary research journals in Genetics & Heredity, and is one of the top ten Molecular Biology journals. In addition to its rising impact factor, Genome Research has rapid manuscript turn-around-on average less than 30 days- and posts accepted preprints online within hours. And, as always, Genome Research remains committed to the community it serves, setting standards in data quality and accessibility, and offering an Open Access option for interested authors. Visit Genome Research genome.org online for additional information about the journal. For more information about submitting your paper to Genome Research or the Personal Genomes Special Issue, please contact Hillary Sussman, Executive Editor, at hsussman@cshl.edu. | |
